Please keep an eye on your email over the coming days for a letter from our Green Schools committee with some requests going forward for reducing our waste and helping in our efforts to gain the Green Schools Flag this school year.

Recently, Green Party TD for Co. Waterford, Marc Ó Cathasaigh paid a visit to our school.
This visit had been arranged last year by Mrs Hally in conjunction with our school efforts to gain a Green Flag. Marc engaged really well with pupils (no surprises there, he's a teacher!) and met our Green Schools committee. He has promised to return when we get our Green Flag. This is a big goal for us here in school for 2022/23. Our new Junior Infants have all been settling in really well to their new surroundings. They are delighted to be together with their new teacher and older friends in Seniors! Please extend a warm welcome to Mrs Rebecca Flynn and Mr Kevin Hally,
who start with us today in Dunhill NS. Kevin is of course no stranger to our school and we are delighted to welcome him back. We wish them both all the best for their future careers in our school. The school calendar for 2022/23 is now available to view and download in the Downloads section
Booklists for all classes for September 2022 have now been added.
Just go to the Downloads section of this site to find the updated information. 5th and 6th Class enjoyed their sports day, especially the penalties,
with some getting the better of Mr Cooper! Some rules may have been broken in Tug of War, with a certain teacher adding her weight! It was a memorable last Sports Day for the outgoing 6th Class. 1st and 2nd Class enjoyed what was Mrs Hally's last Sports Day at Dunhill NS..
As ever, she got stuck in with the children as you can see! |
