Thursday August 31st saw the arrival of some new members of our school community!
The new Junior Infants all had a great first day and settled in well straight away. Check out our Downloads Section for the new 2023/24 Calendar for this academic year.

Anti-Bullying policy The Administration of Medicines Policy On Thursday June 1st the Junior and Senior Infants travelled along with their teacher Mrs Flynn and Ms McGovern to Ardmore Open Farm for their tour. A wonderful day was had by all, the sun shone and big smiles were in evidence all day long!
Last week 1st Class wrote letters to their grandparents, which they then posted in Dunhill. Grannies and Grandads all over Ireland (and further afield!) were delighted and surprised to receive these letters, a tradition we sadly don't often see much of anymore.
Last Thursday May 4th we headed into the RSC by bus for our annual trip to the Primary Schools Sports event. We entered pupils in every event and each child did their very best in their category. Some were lucky enough (and fast enough!) to take home a medal on the day.
Well done to every one who competed, we were so proud of all of you! We were delighted to find out after the Easter break that we have been successful in attaining our first Green Flag! The Litter and Waste Green Flag will be awarded to the school on Wednesday May 10th in Kilkenny at the 2023 Green Schools Awards. Four of our committee members will travel to the awards on the day. We are all thrilled!
