Board of Management Meeting August 20th, 2026
Information to Parents
The Board of Management of Dunhill N.S asks parents especially past pupils if they have any photos involving the school from past Confirmations, Communions, school events, Sports Days, school matches, etc. could they please put their name on the back of them and an accompanying note regarding the year the photo was taken and who is in the photo to Mary in the office. These will be displayed on the 80th Anniversary Day (Sunday, October  and returned to the owners afterwards.
The Board held interviews last week and Mr. Kai Hayes has been ratified as the 3rd/4th Class teacher for the 2026/27 school year. 
The Board passed 2 new Policies.  1: Primary Language Curriculum English Policy           
​2 : Bí Chineálta Policy 2026 (Anti-Bullying Policy)
On July 20th a new caretaker began work in the school. His name is Justin Browne and he will be working in the school for the next year as part of a Tús Scheme.
Justin has been busy painting the boys and girls toilets, Mrs Flynn’s infant room, Mr Cooper’s 5th & 6th class, the school gates etc. 
The school will use Aladdin Connect from now on. It will have benefits for both school and parents. Parents are currently being contacted and asked to download the app on their phones. Information, via e-mail, has been sent to help explain the benefits of Aladdin Connect.
